Salamander 4.0

Well it has been while since I posted and I am sorry about that. We have been working on the Salamander. I posting info about the Salamander a while back. we rode it abused it and sent them out to team riders to ride and give me feed back.

So we now have version 4.0 this new salamander has more camber more concave and we also added a kick in the nose.

Keep watching for more info coming soon. I think this is going to be the final version. We have been having a blast on this new flexi carving board.

Tarpon photos

Hey guys ,

Cole here again and decided to give a little update on how things are going here in the valley of the sun. After riding my Komodo at speeds around 40mph for quite sometime i finally got a proper board for speeds , and what could be better than an LBL Tarpon? As i am progressing as rider this board is giving me the resources to get there. We had a nice little sesh the other day and a guy was snapping some pics so i decided to post my favorites so people could see the beast in action =)

Fellowship of the Bearing

We are having a Fellowship of the bearing release party. Friday 4/17 at 9pm at my shop. We will be showing the video on a 10 foot screen. After the video we will be headed to the construction zone for some skating. I will also have the DVD for sale. This is going to be an awesome DVD and a blast to watch with a bunch of people

Something new

Just thought I would show a shot of as new board we are working on. This is a little flexy carving board that has been in the works for a while now. It has been one of those boards that we have been playing with in the shop and as we ride we come up with ways to make it better. So it has gone through a bunch of changes in shape camber, materials and color.

So here it is the Salamander. It is bamboo and fiberglass with camber concave and a small kicktail. 35″ long and 9″ wide with a 23″ wheelbase. It is the little brother to the Komodo similar shape just smaller. This is a fun little board. Keep an eye out for more info on this little guy soon.

Funkomodo

After a never-ending Chitown winter, spring is upon us and Funkapotamus is back.  Here is a little collection from some spring seshs on the Komodos with a nice edit from DannyC.  Sal, Danny, and I are mad stoked boardin without parkas.  More Vids and some Events to come soon.  -DanS

Spring Fling

Well we got this new toy and boy is it fun. A few weeks ago we got a banshee bungee. I saw these guys at the ASR and also saw a video that Joe from Timeship racing did and it look cool. So we got one to take to the Maryhill freeride. But before that we had to play with it and get comfortable using it. So as soon as we got it me, Danny and Zak took it out in front of the shop and tied it to a fire hydrant. It was a blast.

Joe told me that at 100 feet the bungee would launch you to 30 mph. So that is the length we marked of.

So in the first day of spring it wasn’t raining so we took the bungee to Bush park and set it up to lauch people down the derby track.

We attached the bungee to a tree and marked off 100′. The first few runs we didn’t go all the way back so anyone that wanted to try could get the hang of it. As we got use to it we started pulling it back further. But man does it burn your legs.

we pulled it back to around 110 or 115′ for jed and that was dang fast. If you don’t have your trucks some what tight you get crazy wobble from accelerating from 0 to 30 in 100′.

We will be bringing the bungee out to future events. It is a blast.
